When you’re going to take time to do your makeup and need it to last through a long day of work, or special event, WATERPROOF IT!!!  So many products come in waterproof, and it is definitely worth it!  Wearing a good primer can help “set” your makeup as well.  I never wear mascara that isn’t waterproof, and it really is not a big deal as long as you have a good remover.  My favorite (after trying them all) is Sephora’s Waterproof Makeup Remover.  A little of that stuff, and a couple of cotton balls later and your eyelashes are free to get some beauty sleep!

I recently bought a waterproof eyeliner and I’ll never go back from that either.  Sephora’s waterproof eyeliner in Keep Black is wonderful.  If you’re going to take the time to line your lovely lashes, make it smudge proof, make it worth it!  My favorite mascara right now is Maybelline’s Volum’ Express.  I have a DRAWER full of mascara since I have blond eyelashes and it is my absolute essential.  I love it!!!
